The Antoni Tàpies Foundation was created in 1984 by the Catalan painter Antoni Tàpies in order to promote the study and understanding of modern culture and art. You will find works from all the periods in the development of Antoni Tàpies. You will appreciate the lovely library devoted to modern literature and documentation on art and artists of our century. The foundation is housed in a modernist building by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. It’s well worth it to have a quick glance at the roof terrace.
